What little girl wouldn't want to wear something with these pretty cupcakes , it's too adorable. I really like the contrasting brown and green polka dots, which Abi calls dippin dots, and she has never heard of the ice cream before, I guess it's easier for her to say. I found the chocolate brown twill to make the pants and added the contrasting fabric to match. I like the buttons that are on the back of the top, I tried to make them match the cherries on top of the chocolate icing with the brown and pink combination. I am having so much fun!
The yolk is put together and finished with tiny green rick rack,
then attach the front and back of the top.
Add the sleeves and the ruffle on the bottom.
Attach brown rick rack to the bottom ruffle and make the
pants to match with the contrasting fabric ruffles and rick rack trim.
Chocolate buttons with a cherry on top.
After looking at all these cupcakes we're hungry,......gotta go get a cookie.
Aren't we having fun?!?! We need another sewing night real soon. I bet MiMiJ would be ready. It so much fun to add trims to the yokes and ruffles of those cute little tops. You can make one look entirely diffrent from the other by changing how you trim the yoke of the jumper.
